Greater Washington Alpha Phi Omega

Aguedo “Guidz” Pacada joined Alpha Phi Omega with the Alpha Gamma Chapter at the University of Pangasinan, Dagupan City, and became a full-fledged APO member in 1990. He served as a Scribe of his chapter from 1990 - 1991. Guidz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree in 1991, with 36 credits in Bachelor of Secondary Education degree. In 1992, he passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and started teaching at the San Jose Bani National High School from 1992 - 1994. 

 

Guidz developed his interest with farming and became an entrepreneur, which made him a rice supplier of the Villamor Airbase Golf Club Restaurant from 1994 - 1998. In 1998, he moved on as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Instructions of the City University of Pasay and as the Board of Regents Secretary of the same institution from 1998 - 2001. In 1999 he became an Instructor in Social Science at the City University of Pasay, followed by being an Instructor in Social Science in 2000 at the Dr. Filemon Memorial College in Las Piňas City. In 2001 to 2004, he earned his academic credits in Master of Arts in Educational Planning & Management. In 2005, he was appointed as an Instructor in Social Science at the Philippine State College of Aeronautics, Villamor Airbase, Pasay City. His appointments as an Instructor in Social Science in the three institutions where he taught ended in 2006.

 

With Guidz changing his career path, he became a CNA in 2007 to present. In 2008, he worked at the Muckleshoot Casino as a Table Games Dealer up to 2015, and moved to Snoqualmie Casino in 2016 as a Table Games Dealer and a Supervisor up to 2022. Currently, he is the proud owner of the Amadeo Homecare, LLC, as caregiver and a provider.

 

With his busy career life, Guidz continues to be always a part of Alpha Phi Omega in various capacities. In the 2000s, he was one of the pioneers and served as the Secretary of APO Villamor Airbase Alumni Association. From 2003 to present, he serves as one of the advisers/organizers of APO City University of Pasay Petitioning Chapter/Code511. 

 

In December 2006, Guidz was one of the delegates of APO Philippines to the APO USA Convention held in Louisville, Kentucky, during the leadership of Bro. Fred Heismeyer. On December 30, 2006, he was the APO Philippines delegate to the International Council of Alpha Phi Omega (ICAPO) meeting in Louisville.

 

In 2011, Guidz joined the Greater Washington Alpha Phi Omega and served as the Vice President from 2014 to 2015, and became the President from 2016 to 2017.  On the other hand, he remains as an active alumni member of APO Alpha Gamma Alumni Association from 2012 – present. 

 

From 2016 – present, Guidz is an active financial contributor of the Tambayan ng Po-Aps Annual Humanitarian Mission and Services. From 2021 to present, he is a Life Member of the Alpha Phi Omega Philippines Incorporated.
